Published Jan 11, 2023. Kratos has taken the lives of many people in the God of War franchise. While some may have deserved it, others certainly did not. At the end of 2018’s God of War, Kratos Unfortunately, the God of War team has backed itself into something of a corner with the shock revelation we won't be getting a Norse trilogy. Wild theories have suggested a time travel twist where Kratos and Atreus go back to Ancient Greece to best the God of Olympus all over again, however, a new mythology sounds like a better sell. Published Jan 3, 2023. God of War Ragnarok brought an end to the Norse Saga for Kratos and Atreus, but a few loose ends still need tying up in future sequels. God of War Ragnarok leaves Kratos’ story open for another sequel, and a third game in the Norse Saga seems obvious, given that God of War ’s original Greek Saga was a trilogy.
